ZHONG-CHU-GUO-NENG (BEIJING) TECHNOLOGY CO. Ltd. was established in 2018, and is the pioneer and leader in advanced compressed air energy storage systems. The technology originates from the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, CAS. The company and its subsidiaries are National High-tech enterprises and Zhongguancun Cutting-edge Technology Enterprises, with comprehensive capabilities to research and development, design, core equipment manufacturing, engineering implementation, and investment and operation of advanced hundred-megawatt-level compressed air energy storage systems.
By the end of 2023, the company has successfully completed four rounds of financing, completed the first international 100 MW advanced compressed air energy storage national demonstration project in Zhangjiakou, and started construction of hundred-megawatt-level projects in Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Ningxia, and other places, with a total scale of 1500 MW. It has included the planning project of more than 4000 MW, and the industrial development trend is good.
