Based on the solid foundation of the Light-duty Gas-turbine Technology from IET, leading with the requirement for the designation and system integration of UAV platform, we research in the area such as general technologies of UAV, tackle problems of key technologies, system integration innovation, designation of related products etc..
Team Building
The UAV laboratory has 32 staffs, including one researcher and six associate senior engineers, one post-doctor, five students study postgraduate course in the lab.
Projects and Major Achievements
In 2018 eight projects were in process, four of them were new , including one for major exploring research (also called Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), one of CAS major deployment, one major program of the Science & Technology Committee and one from corporation.
The large cargo UAV AT200 successfully completed its ferry flight with cargo on Oct. 26, 2018.
The code name KT-6, balloon borne Solar-powered UAV Hong Hu completed its maiden flight and adjusted flight from October to November.

35 patents are being applied. 6 patents were granted.
