Qingdao CAS GuoSheng Power Technology Co. Ltd. was established in October 2017 by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao Chenfa Investment Group Co. Ltd., and Qingdao Military-Civilian Integration Development Group Co. Ltd. The company is specialized to provide energy power equipment, system solutions, and services to customers such as power, oil and gas, coal chemical industry, metallurgy, data centers, and marine power.
In 2024, the company's independently developed 30 MW gas turbine successfully completed over 8000 hours of continuous industrial application assessment test during its demonstration operation at the National Pipeline Network's Xinjiang Peacock River Compression air Station. The company also achieved a breakthrough by selling two sets of 30 MW gas turbines for coke oven gas power generation. Throughout the year, the company signed 19 new sales contracts, with a total value of 150 million CNY.
