ZHONG-CHU-GUO-NENG (BEIJING) TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd. was established in 2018, standing as a trailblazer and industry leader in advanced compressed air energy storage systems. The technology originates from the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, CAS. The company and its subsidiaries, recognized as National High-tech Enterprises and Zhongguancun Frontier Technology Enterprises, possess comprehensive capabilities in the research and development, design, core equipment manufacturing, engineering implementation, as well as investment and operation of advanced undredmegawatt-level compressed air energy storage systems. It is the first unicorn company and Hurun-listed Gazelle Enterprise in the field of Compressed Air Energy Storage.
To date, the company has successfully completed four rounds of financing. It has completed the world's first 100 MW advanced compressed air energy storage national demonstration power station in Zhangjiakou, Hebei, and the world's first 300 MW advanced compressed air energy storage national demonstration power station in Feicheng, Shandong. Projects which are under construction andincluded in the planare located in Shandong, Henan, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Hunan, and Jiangxi, with a cumulative capacity exceeding 5000 MW, indicating a highly promising development trend within the industry.
