On April 21, 2026, at the invitation of the Energy Storage R&D Center, Academician Michael Hood from the University of Queensland, Australia, visited the institute for academic exchange and collaboration, and delivered a lecture entitled "The World Is at a Turning Point—A Change in Business Approach Might Be Needed." The academic session was chaired by Director Chen Haisheng, and was attended by over 30 researchers and graduate students from the institute.
