To promote the overall cooperation of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics in the Chinese Academia of Sciences and the ChinaAviation Industries Corporation, the director of the Institute, Wei Qin, the deputy directorof the Institute, Junqiang Zhu, the assistant directorof the Institute and the assistant directorof the department of scientific and technological development in the Institute, Chunqing Tan, were invited to visit the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation (CAC) on 10December 2008 (hereafter referred as theChengfaGroup). They discussed with the president, Guibing Zhao, other leaders and specialists on the collaborations inthe technical research of the aero-engine, derived products and the technological training of their personnel.They have signed a frame agreement for strategic cooperation oftheInstitute of Engineering Thermophysics in the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the ChengfaGroup.
