The Institute continued strengthening the integration of research emphasis and the efforts for research tasks. We newly got seventy four projects in 2008, including thirteen projects financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation (two key projects, five normal projects and six projects by the youth foundation), six 863 projects (including two national key projects), twenty six collaborative projects with locals, six international collaborative projects, nine innovation projects of the Academy and nine more other projects with a newly added financial support for the scientific research of totally about 120 million Renminbi yuans in the entire year.
