　　On the 18th–24th January, invited by the Sea Gull Enterprise Co., Ltd. in Malaysia, Research Professor Wei Qu and Dr. Dazhong Yuan at our Institute introduced the solar energy utilization and the technological scheme of exploiting exhaust heat in the Sea Gull Group. The combination with the heat pipe technologies supplied by our Institute enhanced the above techniques.

　　The staffs of the Institute and the executive chairman of the Sea Gull Group, Juqiang Li, tested, measured and discussed the new phenomena in the special heat transfer devices manufactured by the Sea Gull Group for three days. The president of the Sea Gull Group, Kaixi Chen, met the delegation and expected further bilateral cooperation on the solar energy utilization as soon as possible.
