Journal of Engineering Thermophysics
In the year 2014, 12 issues were published, altogether 552 papers were published in Journal of Engineering Thermophysics, and all were indexed by EI. To further improve paper quality, Journal of Engineering Thermophysics was increased to 220 pages per periodical from the previous 200 pages, and color printing was adopted, with two English manuscripts published. Journal of Engineering Thermophysics has won the honor of “One Hundred Outstanding Academic Journals” selected by statistical results of 2014 annual Chinese Science and Technology Paper Citation, Database (CSTPCD 2014) by Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China. Meanwhile, it has also won the honor of “The Excellent International Impact Academic Journals (Top 10% academic journals in China)” by Chinese Assessment Center for Academic Journals.
Journal of Thermal Science
In the year 2014, 6 issues were published, altogether 76 papers, including 31 papers from abroad and 45 papers from China, altogether 608 pages. This journal is a journal co-published by Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Springer Verlag and Science Press. Springer Verlag is in charge of the sale abroad. In 2014, the download of full papers of Journal of Thermal Science from SpringerLink is 32,780 papers. In 2014, this journal is indexed by SCI, EI, CA, CSCD, CNKI same as before. The authors are from China, Japan, Korea, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia, Russia, Finland, United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil etc. In 2014，we received more than 500 manuscripts, but due to the very strict reviewing standard of our journal, and we have limited space in our journal, we can only publish about one-seventh of the manuscripts we received. After receiving the Prize of Elegant Academic Journal with World-wide Influence in 2012 and 2013, in 2014 we also received the Prize of Elegant Academic Journal with World-wide Influence by Chinese Academic Journal International Evaluation Research Center.
