Cold-state Debug for Supercritical CFB Octagonal Furnace Experimental System Completed
Author: Sun Yanfang | Print | Close | Text Size: A A A | 2013-04-23

Recently, the construction and cold-state debug of a octagonal furnace (with six annular loop) experimental system were completed in Langfang R&D Center of the Laboratory of Circulating Fluidized Bed, following the 6 cyclones with H-type arrangement, 4 cyclones with M-type arrangement and annular furnace cold-state experimental systems. All of the main equipments, the auxiliary equipments and the auxiliary systems achieved the design targets, which meaned the system had the favorable conditions for cold-state debug.

The octagonal furnace experimental system, with the maximum flow rate of 25000 m3/h and a height of 12 m, was an important construction task in the project "technology demonstration of semi coke & coal clean and efficient combustion". It will be served as an experimental platform for research on new type furnaces of 600 MW level supercritical CFB. Studies on gas-solid two-phase characteristics in the furnace of CFB with six parallel cyclone separators will be developed after the completion of the system. The results could be compared with that of other types of furnace, in order to provide basis for the selection of furnace in 600 MW supercritical CFB.
