Commissioning of A 100kW CFB Oxygen-enriched Combustion Experimental System Completed
Author: Li Shiyuan, Tan Li | Print | Close | Text Size: A A A | 2013-01-07

Thermal state commissioning forthe flue gas recirculation system of 100kW CFB oxygen-enriched combustion experimental platform has been completed on Dec. 20th, 2012, marking the successful development of a high oxygen concentration CFB Oxygen-enriched combustion experiment platform. The thermal power of the platform is 100KW and the oxygen concentration is 50%, leading nationally and internationally respectively.

As one of the three important technologies for CO2 trapping, CFB oxygen-enriched combustion technology has attracted wide attention for its outstanding advantages. The 100 kW circulating fluidized bed combustion experimental platform, funded by both the knowledge innovation key projects and the strategic leading technology special projects will be used to develop basic research on combustion characteristics of O2/CO2 and O2/RFG, characteristics of pollutant formation, control, ash formation, and heat transfer and flow under high concentration of oxygen.

The successful development of experimental platform would fill gaps in the field in China, and provide basic experimental data and design reference for MW level CFB oxygen-enriched combustion pilot-scale experimental device. It would be also subordinate to the strategic leading technology special projects, CAS.
