Construction and Commissioning of An M-type Cold State System for Supercritical CFB Completed
Author: | Print | Close | Text Size: A A A | 2012-12-28

Recently, Laboratory of Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) successfully finished the construction and commissioning of an M-type Cold state experimental system for the 600 MW supercritical CFB, which will be followed by experimental studies in next step.

The construction of the cold state experimental bench is an important selection task in the “char/coal clean and high efficient combustion technology pilot project”, which is subordinate to the strategic leading technology special projects. The system was scaled down from the 600 MW M-type supercritical CFB, according to a ratio of 1:35. The total height is 6778 mm, with the furnace height of 5380 mm. Studies on gas-solid two-phase characteristic of CFB with four cyclone separators at one side will be developed after the completion of the system. The cold state experimental results will be compared with that of other types of furnace, in order to provide basis for the selection of furnace in 600MW supercritical CFB.
