The signing ceremony of the joint venture cooperation of development of WR16 gas turbine was held in the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics on July 28, 2011.

The participants included the general manager of Xiamen Meizexinyuan Business Co.,Ltd. Guangxiao Chen, the general manager of Danfu Electrical Appliance Trading (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd. Jingjing Zhang, the director and the deputy director of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics Wei QIN and Junqiang ZHU, Professor Wenjun KONG, Professor Jianjun LIU, Professor Yue WANG and so on.

The signing ceremony was hosted by the Deputy Director Junqiang ZHU.

First, the propaganda video gave an introduction of the development of our institute and the research fruits in every field. Second, Professor Wenjun KONG made a presentation on the development of WR16 gas turbine, giving a detailed introduction of the origin of the project, the technical feasibility, and the preliminary design scheme.

The general manager Guangxiao Chen, the representative of Party A, said everything of this cooperation is ready, so he believed that it can be certain of success. The general manager Jingjing Zhang, the representative of Party B, said it is important to make preparation for marketing development in ahead, and she would assign special persons for the related research and development work (e.g., control system), and give full support to this cooperation. The Director Wei QIN, the representative of Party C, emphasized the meaning of this cooperation and pointed out that it is a beneficial exploration for the marketing of the gas turbine products of our institute.

By the end, on behalf of the three parties, the general manager Guangxiao Chen, the general manager Jingjing Zhang, and Director Wei QIN signed the joint venture cooperation agreement of the development of WR16 gas turbine.

This signing ceremony marks an important step forward of our institute in the marketing process of the small- and micro- scale gas turbine.
