On December 30th, the BEIDAIHE science and technology mission visited the institute of IET. The mission is headed by Xin Miaoxin, the previous director of our institute’s general office and now the associate officer of BEIDAIHE district of QINHUANGDAO city. The leaders of some enterprises, such as the government of BEIDAIHE district, the science and technology office, Qinhuangdao Tianye Tonglian Heavy Industy Group Co., Ltd and and Jinfengfan Electronic Science and Technology Co, Ltd, are also in the mission. IET’s secretary Zhang Ping, the director of the general office Li Honglin, the director of science and technology office Chen Haisheng and some researchers from turbine machinery research group, power machinery research group and Heat and Mass transfer research center gave a warm reception to the mission. The two sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation in several aspects, e.g. wind turbine blade, micro gas turbine and energy-saving technology, stirling engine and micro groove composite phase change cooling technology.
