American colleagues visit the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics

  On August 10, a professor at the Princeton University, US, Dr. Yiguang Ju, an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, US, Dr. Zhili Zhang, and a special research professor in the Key State Laboratory of Turbulence at the Peking University, Dr. Zheng Chen, visited the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics.

  The guests’ main purpose of this trip is to exchange the academic contents of the related clean combustion. The group leader of the clean combustion group at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Dr. Wenjun Kong, received visitors. The two sides briefed each other their research team and progresses. Professor Ju gave an invited talk on combustion of alternative low-carbon fuels. Through the exchanges and discussions, the two sides explored further cooperation in the research directions and contents. The researchers and students in the group at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics participated in the exchanges.
