Research Field

Based on IET’s scientific research ability in fields of energy, power, new material and advanced technology; according to the development need of gas-turbine and aero-engine, the fundamental research, key technology tackling, and system-integration innovation for gas-turbine technology would be developed, and related products’ R&D would be supported.

Research directions

1. i), New structure, new material, advanced process’s development and application for gas-turbine. ii), Power-system whole-structure-design technology, which is centered on the advanced gas-turbine. iii), Integrated management for R&D and manufacture information.

2. The structure strength and reliability research for gas-turbine and aero-engine, as well as the system experimental verification and applicability evaluation.

3. The structure fatigue theoretical study and experimental research for gas-turbine and aero-engine’s typical components.

4. Gas-turbine’s regulatory control, comprehensive utilization, and integrated innovation.
