The institute has built a digital library with service innovation. In 2016, it has opened more than 20 kinds of databases. The IR database has included about 40,000 papers. The librarians have obtained "Citation Retrieval and New Technology Search" qualification certificates, to improve the efficiency of information search for researchers. The library has launched the reference retrieval service for laboratories and centers, and has continually raised its service standards and made unceasing progress.

The institute actualizes a project named ‘The Dynamic Auditing and Automatic Acquisition System of Scientific Information’ to satisfy the need of scientific researchers for high quality information learning. Through the system platform, the information offered by the laboratory team can be displayed. The introduction of new technologies has promoted the knowledge acquiring and sharing significantly.

In addition, the institute has also increased the scientific research personnel’s knowledge on literature and information services by means of trainings and various guides, so as to meet the data acquisition demands on the unavailable databases by means of inter-library loan and Access Anywhere etc.
